2007 CAPS Conference: Friday Night Lite
Click here to order CD's from the conference

CAPS is not one of those conferences where you have to run yourself ragged from dawn till dusk. We want you to have time for fellowship, fun, and sabbath. So, please enjoy “Friday Night Lite”! Connect with friends and go to dinner and a movie. Want to meet new friends? Sign up on one of the “Friday Night Lite Dinner” sheets at the CAPS booth in the exhibit hall on Thursday or Friday; then come to the exhibit hall at 6:00 Friday and meet your new friends and go to dinner together. There is a cinemaplex (with an IMAX), numerous restaurants, and the third largest mall in the United States within walking distance of our hotel. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to anywhere within a two mile radius of the hotel, so hop aboard and enjoy the beautiful walking/jogging paths and historic buildings at Valley Forge National Park. Share a cab with friends and go downtown to see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and all the sights of historic downtown Philadelphia.

Want a nice, quiet evening? Have dinner and then come back to the hotel for a free Christian drama performance by Curt Cloninger

We live in an entertainment saturated society. But very often that entertainment leaves us with nothing of lasting value. There is a great need for quality performances which also present a lasting truth. The one-man theatre of Curt Cloninger does just that. Curt Cloninger is a Christian and a professional actor and writer. He uses his comic and dramatic skills to present theatrical entertainment which moves people to see and feel the good news of God in fresh and creative ways. For more than twenty years Curt has performed thousands of times on college campuses, for churches, in theatres, and for conferences all over North America.

Curt shares a substantive Christian message (without being preachy). Wherever he performs, people are deeply moved. His performances have an intimate, startling quality. They stir emotions and cause people to ask questions. His performances are more than brilliant theatre -- they're theatre with a lasting impression. “Curt and I share a love of fresh glimpses of Christ. Curt has been giving many for years."- Max Lucado, pastor and author

“Watching Curt in action is something to behold. He has the power to hold a crowd in the palm of his hand. Most wonderfully, he used that power to lead them to Jesus, in very entertaining and imaginative ways. A great talent for the Kingdom.”-Philip Yancey, best selling author

Come see Curt perform his show “God-Views” on Friday night at our conference hotel
